Several talk radio hosts have been nominated for membership in the National Radio Hall of Fame. Among them: Citadel money-talker Bob Brinker, Miami legend Neil Rogers, retired WLW/Cincinnati personality Gary Burbank, WOR’s Joey Reynolds, WBLS-FM/New York’s Wendy Williams, and WSB/Atlanta and Dial Global host Neal Boortz. Public Radio International’s “This American Life” is also a nominee.

WSB/Atlanta has quietly added a Sunday talk show hosted by parenting and relationships expert Hal Edward. Best-known for his “ScreamFree Parenting” books and seminars, Edward is a frequent radio guest, often on female-leaning morning shows. His WSB show, which debuted in late April, addresses both personal relationships and the relationship aspects of current events.

Talk Radio Network has announced plans to produce and distribute a morning show based on content from The Washington Times. According to TRN and the Times, the three-hour program (6a-9a) will feature investigative stories, newsmaker interviews, and discussions with reporters from the conservative daily.
